About Zo

  • Over 25 years experience in sports and fitness… includes boxing, football, soccer, track, and martial arts. Today it is integrated into life…
  • United States Air Force 9 years
  • Competitor in open Martial Arts Tournaments brown belt-(Gold, Silver, Bronze)
  • Graduated from the New School University in 2000 with a bachelor of fine arts.
  • Studied with the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and the Equinox Fitness Training Institute (EFTI)
  • Worked at the prestigious Equinox Fitness Clubs
  • Trained under Jim and Phil Wharton as an Active Isolation (AI Cert.) Flexibility Technician.
  • Developed training programs incorporating martial arts, boxing and kickboxing long before it became in industry tools.

Nutrition Experience:

  • Over 10 years in the culinary field as a souse chef, line cook, personal chef, and banquet chef.

  • The American Heart Association (CPR)
  • The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
  • The CHEK Institute as a CHEK Level 1 Practitioner and a Nutrition Lifestyle Coach (NLC) since October 2002 & Feb 2003

  • The American Kettlebell Club (AKC) May of 2007
  • The International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation (IKFF) May of 2008

    Flexibility Training and Joint Mobility

  • Active Isolation Stretching utilizing a massage table
  • Sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the needs of each client.
  • ZoBody Joint Mobility (ZJM)

    is the active pursuit of joint health through executions of sound human movement patterns. The difference between flexibility and ZJM is the component of strength.

    Golf Conditioning -- Strict emphasis on golf biomechanics through individual personal training sessions.
    • Emphasis on proper biomechanics helps to improve distance and better short games and play better injury-free golf.
